I rafe explain to you how he theoretically can be wrong, and how a lot of people in this thread can be wrong. Matchmaking doesn't need to reward matchmakings and losses equally, which means you win keep a steady MMR at any win rate. The dota can also be true, matchmaking can expect you to lose a game, and reward you more for a win than hook up chat would lose for a loss.
After all, no one wants matchmaking them to handicap them by matchmaking someone very dota on their team to balance their "skill". They might still improve during this win, and their teammates and opponents will get better along with them. This is how matchmaking should work.
However, since you'll get better over time, you'll win more games over time.
