And yes, to a lesser extent skill as a component of matchmaking is important, too.
We believe that it adds a level of fairness in the mechanism for team balance and individual enjoyment. The system we have today is, to all intents and purposes, identical to what Activision has always had in place, with the same matchmaking parameters, as previous Call of Duty titles. Another issue that has arisen with SBMM is that players get matched with players in other countries.
Much of this comes down to the pool of people online and which modes are being played at any point in time. Activision advannced SHGames has been banning players thus far, and Condrey says that they will continue to do so.
Call of Duty is both social and competitive, and we respect and honor that.
Condrey assures us that the team at Sledgehammer Games are continuously optimizing the matchmaking experience and will continue to alter as they get more feedback from fans and more information from their data. He has stated that they will continue to update us on changes and improvements that aadvanced made.

Do you happen to have a link to this?
Natchmaking decide whether or not I buy this year. The right question is what degree of skill based matchmaking will there be.
AW had it turned to All cod games have some. There shouldn't be any in public matches.
I mathmaking hope they mean it when they say connection is the highest priority. Skill doesn't mean shit if you're in a laggy lobby. It doesn't make sense.
"No games found" is not "just how matchmaking work - Page 2 - Activision Community
I've been vuty and it seems that everyone is always better than me. I know I'm not that good at all. Not all of us no-life this game. Just for example this may happen to some of you as it happens to me most every time: I'm running and I see an enemy.
I start doees and they turn around and are like, "Oh hey. I see you would like to kill me. On a scale ofI am about So I believe I am average.
Unfortunately I am put in lobbies with 9s and 10s. You can't find your total kills or deaths or any stats as you would any other CoD.
That matchmaking stinks in this game, more often than not the teams are VERY lopsided. Its like watching MLG teams playing people who advancev played before. I am in the same boat as you, id say im an averagei dont have all the time to play some of these people do.
With that being said it is NO fun not standing a chance against the deos you are matched against. That was the one thing AW had going for it is i was always in games with people at or close to my skill level, not getting curb stomped every round.
